Services available to your renters

  • In addition to advertising your property for holiday rentals we can assist your guests with a range of other services.
  • Airport transfers for up to four people (60 euros each way for Alicante; 40 euros each way for Murcia) with larger vehicles taking up to 12 people plus luggage also available at an additional charge.
  • For those making their own way we can provide easy to follow directions to the property.


Other services available 

  • Translations- We offer Spanish translation services in any setting. If you need help please contact us.
  • NIE- If you or anyone you know needs help with applying for an NIE (Spanish ID number) or residency we can take you through the process.

Letting your property

  • If you want to rent out your property to make a little extra income, either as a holiday let or on a medium to long term basis, The Gleam Team can assist in making it available to prospective clients by advertising it through our own web site which also has links to local Estate Agent at no extra cost to yourselves.
  • We would also recommend that we advertise your property on a reputable web site to maximise your rental opportunities.
  • However, as we believe in being totally honest and up front with all our clients we will also be realistic about the rental income you can expect to receive and the rental terms available.
  • In general, any rentals that we make on your behalf will be subject to a fee of 15%. Any rentals you make personally will not attract that fee so you will be able to keep the entire rental charge.
  • Once you start renting out your property you have an obligation to file taxes declaring any income you receive. Any registered accountant in Spain can help you with this. In Spain you should declare your rental income quarterly unlike the UK where it is annually.You will need to provide your chosen accountant with your income and any property expenses for each quarter. You are allowed to use utility bills, mortgage payments and general household expenses to offset your income, your accountant will need this information. Your expenses will only be allowed for the number of days during the quarter your property is rented out. Your accountant will be able to explain more on this. Tax rates for 2018 are 19% on any profit you make.
  • All rental properties will be provided with a comprehensive booklet advising guests about the property and what facilities and services are available in the area. We will also prepare a fully detailed inventory of everything in the property and this will be checked regularly to ensure nothing has been lost or broken.

Key Holding Services

  • Key holding services 350€ per annum.
  • Keys are held in one location – which is fully alarmed with internal and external sensors
  • Keys and alarm details are coded independently
  • Liability insurance is held to cover loss in case of theft
  • We visit the property once a month to check electric is on/off
  • Allow entrance for builders and additional visits to your property etc (fee charged depending on circumstances)
  • Agree fee to accept deliveries to your property
  • Ensure villa is left safe and locked at all times
  • Turn water off at mains when your property has been vacated
  • All correct laundry returned to the property if you are using us for laundry
  • All unwanted marketing material removed from property monthly
  • Check for ants and other bug infestations
  • Meet and greet your guests if you are using us for property management services – charges will be made if this is not the case

Cleaning Services

  • All properties are wiped over and laundry done on departure.
  • A pre-arrival clean is done approximately 2 days prior to new guests arriving to ensure your property is fresh.
  • Clean and laundry from:
  • 2 bed 1/2 bathrooms from €60, €5 per person thereafter
  • 3 bed 2 bathrooms from €70, €5 per person thereafter
  • 4 bed 2 bathrooms from €90, €5 per person thereafter


  • All cupboard fronts wiped over
  • Work surfaces cleared and cleaned
  • Liability insurance is held to cover loss in case of theft
  • Floors swept/vacuumed and mopped
  • On departure dishwasher /washing machine/microwave/oven/fridge freezer checked that empty and wiped/cleaned
  • Fridge cleaned
  • Fridge/Freezer turned off if more than 2 week gap between guests
  • Windows cleaned when needed
  • Microwave cleaned
  • Hob wiped over
  • Mirrors cleaned


  • Sofas pulled out and vacuumed/swept under
  • Sofa cushions pulled out and vacuumed
  • All surfaces polished
  • Floors swept/vacuumed and mopped
  • Windows cleaned when needed


  • Floors vacuumed/swept and mopped
  • Bath/Bidet/Toilet/Shower and Sink cleaned
  • Mirrors and shelves cleaned
  • Fresh Towels put out for guests


  • Beds changed with fresh bed linen
